What is the salary-cap league format?
Salary-cap leagues skip the live draft entirely. Instead, every CEBL player is assigned a dollar salary based on their fantasy points per game. You build your roster by freely picking anyone from the shared pool — multiple teams can roster the same player — as long as your total salary stays under your league's cap (default $1,500,000). Adds and drops stay open all season, while players lock once their team has already played that day. It's a great option if scheduling a live draft is tough for your group.
What is CEBL Fantasy?
CEBL Fantasy is a free online fantasy basketball platform built specifically for Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) fans. You create or join a private league, draft CEBL players, set weekly lineups, make trades, and earn points based on real CEBL game stats — all season long.
Is CEBL Fantasy free to play?
Yes — leagues, drafts, weekly lineups, trades, live scoring, and player stats are all completely free. An optional Premium subscription unlocks the AI Coach, advanced analytics, draft tools, and Discord perks for $2.99/month or $6.99 for the full season pass.
When does the 2026 CEBL fantasy season start?
You can still create or join leagues. Drafts can begin on or after Sunday, May 24, 2026 — timing is up to each league's commissioner. Fantasy scoring goes live as soon as the regular season tips off.
How does CEBL Fantasy scoring work?
Player scores are calculated from official CEBL statistics — points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and more — sourced from CEBL broadcast and public data feeds. Your team earns the combined score of your active starters each game week.
Can I play in multiple leagues?
Yes. You can join or create as many leagues as you like — private leagues with friends, open public leagues, or both. Each league has its own draft, roster, and standings.
What does CEBL Fantasy Premium include?
